Procedure: What to Expect
On the day of surgery, you’ll arrive at our surgical facility prepared and confident, knowing every detail has been thoughtfully planned. Keep the following in mind:
- Please wear loose-fitting, front-opening clothing, and bring your provided surgical garment
- Be sure to leave all jewelry, contact lenses, and valuables at home
- Unless instructed otherwise, do not eat or drink anything after midnight the night before surgery
- Arrive at the designated time, calm and ready to begin your transformation
Once you’re comfortably under anesthesia, Dr. Gabrick will make a carefully chosen incision based on the personalized plan developed during your consultation. A precise pocket is created to accommodate your selected implant—either above or partially beneath the chest muscle—ensuring ideal placement for symmetry, projection, and natural-looking contours.
After the implants are positioned, your incisions are meticulously closed in layers using advanced suturing techniques that promote healing and reduce visible scarring. Surgical dressings and a supportive post-operative bra are then applied to help minimize swelling and protect your refined results.
You’ll be closely monitored in our recovery suite before being discharged the same day to rest and begin healing comfortably at home, with clear aftercare instructions and our full support every step of the way.
